History of Stephentown CDAs printed in "The History of Rensselaer County" by Nathaniel Sylvester Bartlett. This book was written in 1880 and includes histories on each town in Renssealaer County. This history of Stephentown includes hundreds of names of the residents who lived there, some of which are Carpenter, Douglas, Green, Brown and many more. Several genealogies are included as well. Find out what churches families belonged to, how burying grounds got started, what people did for a living and much more information on "The Only Stephentown On Earth." BONUS: I've included the History of Berlin as a bonus. Due to the close proximity of the two towns, many families traveled back and forth in order to work on the many farms in the area. You can read about the infamous Brimmer indian kidnapping, in detail, and much more. Hundreds of family names are found in the pages. Stephentown History CD (and FREE map) - $5.00 |
